How can someone access the memorial website?
The memorial site will be assigned a unique Internet address which
includes the name of the deceased, for example
www.sdmemorials.com/Richard-Fox. The site can be accessed
directly using this Internet address.
Who creates, edits and updates the website content?
When you create the memorial you will be asked to choose a password,
which gives you exclusive access to an easy-to-use tool which you can
use to add, change or delete website content. As the website manager,
you will be able to control the content and make changes if necessary.
How long does it take to create a memorial website?
It takes approximately several minutes to create the site. Afterwards,
you will be able to add and edit content at any time.
What can be maintained by you as the website master?
You can update the person's biography, photo/image gallery, guestbook,
stories and memorial services information. You can also change the banner
at the top of the pages and the background color of the pages.
Guests can add entries to the stories and guestbook pages. As the website
manager, you have the capability to delete any entries that you find
offensive or objectionable.
What is included on the Memorial Services page?
It includes information about the showing/wake, funeral/memorial services
and burial services. Information can be added for organizations in which
to make a charitable contribution in your loved one or friend's name.
Local florists can be listed to assist people when they are ordering flowers
for the various services.
What methods of payment do you accept?
2Checkout.com, Inc. is an authorized retailer of goods and services provided by
Simply Divine Memories. They currently accept: VISA, MasterCard, American Express
and Discover/Novus credit cards. Payments can also be made using Electronic
Check Drafts (ACH).
Do the memorial sites have "ads" on them?
The personalized memorial sites are ad-free. No annoying advertisements will clutter
up the site.
